The most important event on the Buddhist calendar is upon us! Please join us at the International Buddhist Cham Shan Temple, Morisset in celebrating Vesak which marks Shakyamuni Buddha’s birth.
Celebrations take place from Friday 26 to Saturday 27 May.
The program includes:
Friday:
Celebration of Shakyamuni Buddha’s Birthday
Grand offering
Bathing Buddha Ceremony at 2pm.
All other times between 9:30am and 4pm will be self-guided.
Saturday:
Bathing Buddha Ceremony will be at 10am and 2pm.
In the afternoon on both days, there will be a Buddha’s life story display including a guided English commentary for children and adults and other activities.
Please RSVP by 12 May if you wish to attend.
