Metta Centre is honoured to again be hosting Venerable Sayalay Dipankara (aka Daw Dipankara Theri) during her Sydney teaching tour. This non-residential retreat will feature Dhamma talks and meditation instructions from Sayalay Dipankara, with practitioners encouraged to meditate and deepen their practice most of the time. Sayalay Dipankara will be teaching about Samatha (Concentration) & Vipassana (Insight) meditation. To make the most of the retreat, attendees are encouraged to attend all three days, and to be able to meditate on their own based on Sayalay’s instructions. Whilst there will be no private interviews, there will be a Q&A session on Monday.

The retreat will occur in the spacious Western Sydney University, Bankstown City campus, who is our major sponsor for this event. Participants can also join online if they are unable to attend in person.

Program:
Saturday 5 October: 8.30am for 9am start to 5pm
Sunday 6 October: 8.30am for 9am start to 5pm
Monday 7 October: 8.30am for 9am start to 3pm

The retreat is free, but registration is essential for in-person attendance as there are limited spaces available. When ordering your tickets, please ensure you select the day/s you are attending, and whether attending in-person or online only. Please cancel your ticket if you are no longer able to attend to allow others to take your spot.
