The 2 days long practice, led by Venerable Dukung Gyaltsen Tulku Rinpoche will introduce participant to the powerful practice of Vajrasattva. Rinpoche is a highly revered senior teacher of the Karma Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism and a well-versed scholar who teaches from all Tibetan Buddhist traditions and embodies the non-sectarian spirit of (Ri-me).

This 2-days puja program will include chanting and meditation sessions.

Participants will engage in the meditative practice of Vajrasattva — a practice of purification and healing, which removes illnesses and obscuration through meditating on the bodhisattva Vajrasattva. The Vajrasattva practice helps tantric practitioners to purify their negative karmas, accumulated from beginningless time. Furthermore, the recitation of the hundred syllable mantra of Vajrasattva purifies negativities, repairs degenerated and broken vows and commitments.

The highlight of this weekend culminates with a Vajrasattva Tsog and a Yellow Dzambala Empowerment, a practice that frees practitioners from obstacles and illnesses and increases one’s spiritual and material wealth.

Texts and meditation cushions will be provided for all participants. Please wear comfortable and modest clothing as some sessions may involve meditation or prostrations (optional).
