Maintaining a Steady Mind
In this week’s Detox Series Webinar, Venerable Dr. Juewei and Buddhist Solicitor Tina Ng will be exploring how we can deal with our inner worlds when our outer worlds are in turmoil.
While our world today is undergoing unprecedented change, our minds have always been our greatest challenge. Our fears and anxieties often arise out of the notion that we are in control of everything around us. But what happens if we stop trying to control situations, and allow life to happen? Join the conversation to learn about how we can work towards accepting the uncertainty of life and maintain a steady mind.

Tina is also the Principal Solicitor of Metta Legal, a law firm that deals with cases relating to family law, child protection, property, civil litigation and guardianship matters. She is an accredited mediator at Metta Resolution, which provides mediation, training and coaching to resolve conflict in the community and within families.

Juewei holds a PhD in Religious Studies, Master of Arts in Buddhist studies, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering. Juewei began her career as an applied R&D engineer in Artificial Intelligence systems in the 1980s and moved on to management positions in Singapore’s statutory bodies.
