Tara is an important female bodhisattva in Buddhism. She is often referred to as the ‘mother of all Buddhas’ and ‘Tara the liberator’ as those who request help, find solace in her.
Following on from the recent retreat led by Geshe Tenzin Zopa, KYRC is commencing a regular session of the Tara practice.
Join us in the recitation of Lama Zopa’s Short Practice of Green Tara sadhana. It will be led by senior students of KYRC.
This practice is open to everyone as no prior lung or empowerment is required.
Dates: Sunday at 10am
13th October
Location: in-person at Kunsang Yeshe Retreat Centre, 116 Bathurst Road, Katoomba with sadhana leader or via Zoom at a location of your choice
Cost: by donation
You are welcome to arrive early to help with setting up the altar for this practice. A small offering is welcome eg. flowers or fruit.
If you would like to attend via Zoom please book using this link. You will need the FPMT Short Practice of Green Sadhana to join in. If you have a Mala you can use that for the mantra recitations but it is not essential. Please contact info@kunsangyeshe.com.au if you need a copy of the text or have any questions.
