We are offering the 2-day Special Religious Education (SRE) workshop in collaboration with Vien Giac Temple who, like the Buddhist Council of NSW, is a Department of Education approved provider of SRE training.

All modules required to be authorised as a volunteer teacher of SRE in NSW public schools are included in the weekend. These are Values and Life skills, Classroom Management, Child Protection, and Resources and Lesson Planning.

Our presenters are highly experienced SRE teachers John Barclay and Bhikkuni Thich An Thien as well as Buddhist Council operations manager, Ann MacArthur.

10.30am – 3pm on both 26th and 27th of October.
