Enjoy a day of mindfulness and caring for your mind and body with meditation and qigong. Parents with children and teenagers are invited to stay on for the Children’s Mindfulness class. These classes will include instructions for mindful living, guided meditation practices to restore your lost energy, and Healing Breath Qigong to help us maintain good health, live longer, prevent illness, heal naturally, and lighten up our spirit. These classes bring in a holistic wellbeing practice that incorporates mindfulness, meditation, slow flowing movements, deep rhythmic breathing, and developing a calm meditative state of mind.
The Children’s Mindfulness classes are part of the Bodhi Youth Program. The classes are for children and their parents to discover ways to bring mindfulness and kindness into each other’s lives, their hearts, and into their home. In this way, we can find our way back to our true home. For parents with children aged 5 years and under, please ensure that at least one parent is to be present with their child or children.
The sessions will be facilitated by Sister Emerald and Sister Steadiness, both trained in Plum Village under the guidance of Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh.
