Event Details
Sat 18 June | 3:00-7:00pm
Bryan Brown Theatre, Bankstown
Cost: $15 for adults, $10 concession
The festival is a celebration of diversity in cultures and practices in Buddhism. It is a golden opportunity to bring together friends and family from the various Buddhists traditions.
Join us for a day of festivities, talks, performances, stalls and for the meeting of Buddhists from all traditions. This event is non-sectarian whose sole aim is to encompass and bring people together for a general appreciation of the Buddha’s teachings and how various communities have embraced and put the Dhamma teachings into practice.
Of course, no Festival would be complete without some fun-filled activities including performances and maybe food to enjoy together!
Tickets are $15 or $10 for children under 10 and can be purchased here. All proceeds of the event and booklet will be utilised by Metta Centre to further propagate and spread the Buddha’s teachings of wisdom and compassion, both of which are so desperately needed in these troubled times.
If you would like to find out more, you can also visit the Festival’s website here. You can also contact the Metta Festival’s committee via email mettafestival2022@gmail.com.
