Event Details
For many of us our Buddhist practice has led to a deep appreciation of nature and our environment, yet we experience anxiety about what we can do in the face of the climate change emergency.
Sacred People, Sacred Earth, an international day of action on 11 March 2021 gives a focus for communities of faith to demand strong action on climate justice. The Buddhist Council is joining with other Buddhist organisations, the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change and Greenfaith International to lead this meditation session. Please join us with your signs to make a visible statement of our commitment to climate action.
Meet at the top of Martin Place on Macquarie Street.
