This course invites you to enter the mandala of the five archetypal Buddhas (or Jinas, meaning ‘Conquerors’ or ‘Victors’): Akshobya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi and Vairochana. Each one embodies one of the five Buddhist Wisdoms, which are antidotes to hatred, pride, greed, envy and ignorance.
Once in the mandala you’re in a protected space, where the qualities of the Jinas are absorbed by you, so you can be open to becoming unperturbed, equanimous, discriminating, fearless and wise.
Each week we will meditate on a different Jina Buddha, and we’ll intuitively explore each one through discussion, symbol, image and sound.
This is a 6 week course open to any level of experience. Spaces are limited, and booking in advance is required.
