Our relationships with our partners, friends and family are one of the most important things in life. They can be rewarding, fun and loving yet also challenging and frustrating at times. With the intensity and anxiety of the COVID period, we may have both come to depend on our relationships more and also found moments of struggle and resentment.
What makes strong healthy lasting relationships and what did the Buddha say about this? How can Buddhism make our communication and actions with our loved ones work better? Is self-compassion just as important as compassion? Should trust, love and appreciation arise on their own and how much of a role do we play in making them happen?
In this two part series, we will explore these questions together and more with meditation, talks and discussions.
