Traditionally, Tibetans celebrate Losar ལོ་གསར for 3 days. This year Losar falls from 3 to 5 March. At Kamalashila Tibetan Centre, we will be celebrating Losar and hanging prayer flags on the third day of Losar, Saturday 5 March.

The hanging of prayer flags or ‘Wind Horses’ on this day is very good fortune, bringing good luck and success to one’s life. This year, Drogmi Buddhist Institute is offering you the opportunity to participate with the minimum sponsorship of $5. We will write your name, or family’s name, on the flag and hang it up at the centre on this day for you.

If you pay by direct deposit you will need to email us about your deposit and the name of the person to be inscribed on the flag. If you pay via the donations page please include a note with the name of the person or family making the donation.
