On Sunday, 6th November 2022, Sakya Tharpa Ling will be celebrating our
Guru the living Buddha, His Eminence Luding Khenchen Dorjechang
Rinpoche’s birthday. On the same day, lies the anniversary of five other
great Sakya masters (Parinirvana day) – Khon Konchok Gyalpo, Sachem Kunga
Nyingpo, Bari Lotsawa Rinchen Dark, Goenpo Sonam Chokden and Kunga Tenpe
Lodue

To receive the blessings of all the Gurus and to ensure His Eminence
Khenchen Rinpoche continues to live a long and healthy life, we start the
day by doing Green Tara Puja, followed by Khata offering, long-life prayer,
and cutting the cake. We wish and pray that he continues to turn the wheel
of dharma for the sake of all living beings.

Program as follow:

10:15am: Butter lamp offering

10:30am: Green Tara Puja with guided meditation

11:40am: Video of latest teaching from HE Luding Khenchen Dorjechang Rinpoche, HE Dungyud Tulku Rinpoche will be translating into English.

12:00pm: Khata offering and cutting of the cake

1pm: Lunch- Please bring a vegetarian dish on the day (Potluck style)
