We live in a time of extraordinary change and uncertainty. The present is filled with a sense of crisis. And the future, which by its very nature is unknowable and unpredictable, is even more so than usual. How can we respond to this? What kind of future can we imagine? What role could Buddhism play in this … and in helping us bring about the kind of future that we’d like to imagine?

Join Bhante Sujato, respected teacher and scholar of early Buddhism, for this 4-week course exploring what it means to follow the Buddha’s teachings now and into the future.

Week 1: What future did the Buddha see?

Week 2: Is the future here already?

Week 3: What if there is no future?

Week 4: Might we dream of futures possible and impossible?

Go to the Library YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/BuddhistLibrarySydney for the talk, starting at 7pm on Tuesday evening. This will be followed at 7:35pm by a live chat and Q&A with Bhante Sujato (link will be provided on the day).
