It goes without saying that we all want to be wiser and more compassionate. But how do we awaken wisdom and compassion in our daily Lives? The traditional approach for awakening wisdom and compassion in everyday life are the Six Paramitas, the transcendent perfections. In this talk Pema will discuss the paramitas as they are approached in all the Buddhist vehicles, from Sutra and Mahayana to Vajrayana and Dzogchen. Pema will outline easy to apply practices that help us to embody the perfections in our interactions with others and the world, bringing to life our inherent wisdom, kindness, love and joy.

Pema has been a Buddhist for forty years, discovering at the age of eleven that his personal worldview and the tenets of Buddhism were in perfect accordance.
