About the Presenter: Ven Bhante Sumano is a Jamaican Buddhist monk ordained in the Theravāda tradition. Although his main practice is based on Theravāda, Bhante Sumano prefers to seek the essence of the Dhamma present in all Buddhist traditions and is most interested in the teachings that lead to final liberation. He currently resides at Empty Cloud Monastery in New Jersey, USA and regularly shares teachings on YouTube.
About Mudita Citta: Mudita Citta (The Mind of Joy) is a small group of Buddhists and spiritual friends casually founded in March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. Due to the sudden lockdown, several like-minded spiritual friends got together and decided to listen to a Dhamma talk and discuss the topic via Zoom on a fortnightly basis. Over the past year, Mudita Citta has grown and sometimes invites a guest speaker who has given a talk on the chosen topic to join the discussion session live where people can ask them questions and meet them directly online.
