What can we do as individuals to respond to the world’s current turmoil? How can we help contribute to world peace and reverse climate change? These may sound like rather grand questions. Thich Nhat Hanh has called for a Collective Awakening in response to them.
We usually end our meditations with the wish that “All beings be happy, be peaceful, be liberated.” What better way to intensify our practice than to explore this idea – for the benefit of ourselves and all beings? Join David O’Rose and explore how to turn the despair that arises when these topics come up, into a deeper, more joyful practice, as you discover the opportunities to benefit others – just by being aware and awake!
About the Speaker: David O’Rose is an experienced leader of meditation groups, both in Sydney and Hong Kong. His approach is utterly simple, where the living experience of a meditative approach to everyday life is the aim of practice.
