According to the Lunar Calendar, July is an auspicious month of Reciprocating Gratitude, accumulating merits and removing obstacles for oneself and all sentient beings.
Ullambana is a popular Buddhist festival observed in most of Asian countries. The festival is held to please the deceased ancestors by making offerings to their spirits. The Festival falls on the 15th July in the Lunar Calendar and is also known as Buddha Rejoice.
With great compassion to all the sentient beings, Venerable Sonam Tenzin Rinpoche, Venerable Lama Namsai and Venerable Lama Tenzin from Barom Kagyu Sydney will preside over the auspicious Amitayus Puja and Amitabha Jangchok Puja through the live broadcast. It is an important practice to heal the world with Dharma of Buddha Amitabha from the COVIC-19 pandemic.
