This online retreat taught by Sayālay Daw Bhadda Manika and Sayādaw U Vivekananda will be conducted through Zoom.
The daily schedule will include approximately 5h 45m sitting meditation, 4h 30m walking meditation, an evening Dharma talk, and individual interviews.

For this retreat we ask that retreatants commit to:
- Observe the eight precepts or at least the five precepts;
- Practice according to the schedule;
- Practice according to the meditation instructions as given by the late Ven. Mahasi Sayadaw;
- Practice with care and respect;
- Exercise restraint of the senses;
- Slowing down all activities;
- Continuity of mindfulness;
- Keeping the mind in the present moment;
- Keeping communications with the outside world to a minimum;
This retreat will be taught according to the meditation instructions given by the late Ven. Mahasi Sayadaw and it is a necessity that retreatants practice according to these instructions.
Venerable Sayalay Daw Bhadda Manika is a resident teacher at the Panditarama International Meditation Centre in Lumbini, Nepal. This is the third retreat she has conducted with BMIMC. Sayalay speaks excellent English.
Sayādaw U Vivekananda has trained under the Ven. Sayādaw U Panditabhivamsa of Myanmar since 1988. He is the resident teacher and abbot at Panditarama Lumbini International Vipassana Meditation Center, Lumbini, Nepal. He has been teaching in the tradition of the Ven. Mahasi Sayādaw since 1998. Ven. Vivekananda guides meditators in a precise and encouraging manner though daily yogi interviews.
This retreat is suitable for beginning and experienced meditators.
Teachers
Sayādaw U Vivekananda is a senior meditation teacher in the Mahāsī tradition and the abbot of Paṇḍitarama International Meditation Centre in Lumbini, Nepal. He also teaches a busy schedule in North America and Europe.

Ven. Sayalay Baddha Manika was born in Myanmar on 9 June 1955. She ordained as a nun in Lumbini in February 1999. She has greatly contributed to the development of Panditarama-Lumbini in various functions and teaches both there and abroad.
