ACHIEVEMENTS

(Since we started in 1985)

• An office team of more than ten volunteer staff

• Between 2000 and 3000 children taught ‘Values and Life Skills’ in NSW government schools each week

• More than 20 Buddhist chaplains visiting hospitals and prisons each week

• Membership of more than 130 temples, meditation groups, retreat centres and Buddhist organisations from all Buddhist traditions and cultures

• Benefits for member organisations including marketing support, event support, low cost insurance, event support and specialist advice

• Training for Buddhists to volunteer within the community in temples, hospitals, schools, prisons, workplaces and families
