We are having a gathering of volunteers and potential volunteers on 13 June, aimed at exploring the spiritual purpose of volunteering and what it is that you want to gain from the experience. MITRA Conference 2009

The MITRA Conference will be held this year between 4 July and 5 July; bringing together a range of highly esteemed international monks and nuns from a range of Buddhist traditions, the MITRA conference is a unique chance to learn more about Buddhism. The conference welcomes all people regardless of age or religious background. "Having Enough, Finding Spiritual Wealth" will be held at the Great Hall of the University of Technology, Sydney.

Understanding, Interpreting and Applying the 5 Precepts

Buddhist Council of NSW Annual General Meeting

The Buddhist Council will be holding its 2009 Annual General Meeting on Sunday 19 April 2009 from 2.00pm at its offices at Crows Nest. Members of the Buddhist Council should have received their notifications in the post and are invited and encouraged to attend the AGM. Other interested persons are also invited to the AGM to hear about the Buddhist Council's goals for the year ahead.
