DONATIONS

Any donations you make to the Buddhist Council are used to sustain the work that it does in two key areas: helping its member organisations and representing the Buddhist community to mainstream society.  Except for a very limited, partial subsidy provided for some chaplaincy services, the Buddhist Council is operated by unpaid volunteers (see Volunteers).

Tax Deductible Donations

We have recently been approved by the Australian Taxation Office to operate a tax deductible fund for Buddhist education in schools.  If you wish to support Buddhist education in schools, please mail us a cheque made out to "Buddhist Council of NSW Religious Education Fund".  Please provide us with your address and we will send you a tax deductible receipt .

If you wish to make a donation to our general fund, we will gratefully send you a receipt if you include your address.  Cheques should be crossed and made payable to The Buddhist Council of NSW.
