VOLUNTEER TEACHER PROGRAM

We urgently require volunteer teachers for our Special Religious Education (SRE) Programme.
 

We currently have teachers covering nearly forty schools but we have many more schools requesting for teachers. We are unable to satisfy these requests until more teachers become available.

If you are a committed Buddhist with some free time during school hours, we need you.
 

To qualify :

1. You are only required to have a sound basic knowlege the Buddha's teachings as only elementary subjects are taught.
2. You are eligible to sign the Volunteer Declaration form (which states you are free from any convictions for child molestation, assault or drug offences)

The Buddhist Council will provide teaching resources for each teacher.
