Becoming a member

As the representative body for Buddhist organisations in NSW, membership is only open to organisations. If you are an individual willing to share your skills and expertise with the Buddhist Council, please email us at office@buddhistcouncil.org or call 02 9966 8893. Click here to read about the ways you can volunteer and support our beneficial Buddhist programs.

To become a member, please download a copy of the Membership Application Form (Document Download) and post the completed paperwork to:

or scan to our email (office@buddhistcouncil.org).

To qualify, Member organisations will need to:

  1. Support the Statement of Universal Buddhism
  2. Be nominated by an existing member
  3. Enclose a copy of your Constitution or Articles of Association.
  4. Agree with the aims and objectives of the Buddhist Council of New South Wales.
